Description
The Syphilis (TP) Antibody Rapid Test Kit is a rapid immunoassay for the qualitative detection of antibodies to Treponema Pallidum in human serum, plasma, or whole blood. Designed for professional use as an aid in diagnosing syphilis, this test employs the double antigen sandwich method, delivering reliable results comparable to the TPPA method in just 10-15 minutes. With a cut-off value of 1NCU/mL, it offers high sensitivity and specificity. The test’s one-step procedure involves adding the specimen and diluent buffer to the cassette, followed by a short wait to interpret the results: two colored lines indicate a positive result (syphilis antibodies detected), while one line (control only) signals a negative result. Suitable for point-of-care testing, its flexibility with specimen types—fingerstick whole blood, serum, or plasma—makes it an excellent choice for various healthcare environments.
Key Features:
High sensitivity with a cut-off value of 1NCU/mL
Quick results in 10-15 minutes
Simple one-step procedure with no equipment required
Supports multiple specimen types: fingerstick whole blood, serum, and plasma
Stable storage at 4-30°C for 24 months
Usage Instructions:
Bring the test kit to room temperature and remove it from its sealed pouch.
Collect the specimen:
For serum/plasma: Use the dropper to add 1 drop to the sample well.
For whole blood: Add 1 drop of whole blood followed by 1 drop of diluent buffer.
Wait 10-15 minutes for results to appear.
Interpret the results:
Two lines (control and test) = Positive (syphilis antibodies detected)
One line (control only) = Negative (no syphilis antibodies detected)
No lines or test line only = Invalid (retest with a new test)
