Description
The HIV (1+2) Antibody Rapid Test is a rapid immunoassay designed for the qualitative detection of antibodies to HIV-1 and HIV-2 in human serum, plasma, or whole blood. Intended for professional use as an aid in diagnosing HIV infection, this CE-certified test utilizes the colloidal gold method to deliver results with exceptional sensitivity (100%) and specificity (99.8%) in 15-30 minutes. Its flexible specimen options—fingertip whole blood, venous whole blood, serum, or plasma—make it adaptable to various clinical settings. Simply add the specimen and diluent buffer to the cassette, wait, and interpret the results: two colored lines indicate a positive result (HIV antibodies detected), while one line (control only) signals a negative result. This test is not intended for self-testing or blood screening, ensuring it remains a trusted tool for healthcare professionals.
